Hey, I'm Shirley. I'm in high school.

A few years ago, I was a completely different person, and I can assure you within the next three years I can safely say I will be a completely different person again. But now we have time to live, and we can laugh at it later. dont worry about it at all.

My personality switches sometimes minorly and sometimes drastically every year. Sometimes I think im high on life and live on happiness. Of course, im an acual person with laughter, heartbreak, anxiety, confidence, spontinaity, and maybe every emotion you can think of. My photography is influenced sometimes by the aspects of my life mostly the friends I photograph and the fun I have doing that.

I currently shoot with a Canon 30D and I do my film work with a Canon Rebel G2.

I've done everything from Band photography to Artistic Photo shoots.

I'm not a fan of landscapes, as you can see people are usually all on my website. [my friends, random people, street walkers, ddr nerds, scene kids etc. any one] The way i like to photograph is getting expressions out of people, getting their eyes, hearts, friendship and laughter.

In class, we watched a video from the 1980s about photography and how to take a technically good photo. This fat old man was telling me about how to take good photo. It angered me, it didn’t tell you about the soul behind it. Half the work comes from the heart and self reflection. Your own lifestyle and life [carefree and vibrant? Or pessimistic and dramatic? And so on. It all shows in the photographs] your photographs are part of your never ending story as a photographer.
